I am interested in evaluating individual characteristics of human cognition through human-robot social interaction, investigating the underlying mechanisms of the developmental disorder by a means of computational approach and further developing neural network models for robots to acquire cognitive abilities. In my Ph.D. project, I mainly focused on the designing, controlling and evaluating a powered lower-extremity prosthesis. In the context of a robotic system, I can independently design circuit schematics and PCB layouts, implement signal conditioning, design online control/optimization algorithms (e.g. machine learning) and post-process gait data.
