Nagai Laboratory at the University of Tokyo has launched a new initiative in collaboration with S-Pool, Inc., a company that supports employment for persons with disabilities. The program uses technologies such as a head-mounted display–based simulator that reproduces the atypical visual characteristics of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Through this experiential program, supporters and others can better understand the everyday challenges faced by individuals with developmental disorders. This initiative aims to deepen understanding, improve the quality of support, and expand employment opportunities.
