Two papers authored by Dr. Von Ralph Dane M. Herbuela have been accepted for the 14th International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII 2026). The papers will be presented orally at the conference, which will be held in Mexico from September 7, 2026. The presentations will discuss how affect is expressed through multimodal signals, such as facial expressions and speech, as well as what approaches are needed to estimate affect from Japanese speech.
