My research interests focus on human-inspired artificial intelligence, active perception, and cognitive modeling. Through my research, I aim to understand how perception, attention, and internal states interact during decision-making. In particular, I develop computational models of active vision and hard attention that generate human-like gaze behavior, and examine how prediction error, uncertainty, and affective modulation shape perceptual behavior. My long-term goal is to build interactive AI systems that help bridge artificial intelligence and human cognition.
